Alicia is well named and really is a "Girl On Fire." Her first show weekend was at the Springfield shows after Thanksgiving, 2016. She was entered in the 4-6 month puppy competition for the first 3 days. The first day she took a Herding Group 3 shown by her sire's owner, Connie Nelson, Rabbit Run Shelties (first time they had ever met). The second day she was BB but we had to leave part way through the Herding Group due to a conflict with the regular Sheltie classes. The third day she took a Herding Group 1!!! Like her half brother Miles (Belcroft Majestyk Nautical Mile) she immediately loved everything about showing.
At her first "real" show at the Greater Lowell KC on 1/21/17 she was Reserve Winner's Bitch under Hector Hector at 6 1/2 months old. The next day she was Winner's Bitch for two points and then went onto Best of Winner's and Best of Breed (!) under Meredith Hector.
